A special grand jury in Georgia has recommended that Fulton County Democrat District Attorney Fani Willis indict 39 people, including current and former U.S. senators, in the investigation into alleged attempts to overturn the 2020 presidential election in the state.
The special grand jury has recommended indictments against Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., former Georgia Republican Sens. David Perdue and Kelly Loeffler, as well as former national security adviser Michael Flynn, according to a report released Friday.
Willis indicted former President Donald Trump and 18 others on charges they tried to overturn the state’s 2020 election resultsa on August 14.
Overall, the special grand jury has recommended indicting 39 people.
