Cybersecurity Official Assures Elections Are Safe from Cyber Threats

A senior official from the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency stated that the first major voting date on this year’s primary calendar went smoothly without any major issues.

The official, who requested anonymity, confirmed that there were no specific, credible threats or malicious activities during the Super Tuesday elections held across states.

Although there were social media outages affecting platforms like Meta’s Facebook, Instagram, Threads, and Messenger on Tuesday, the official mentioned that there was no indication of any connection to the elections.
