Health officials report that four individuals who were hospitalized due to injuries from the tragedy have succumbed, and there are still fifteen others in hospitals receiving treatment.
Additionally, they confirmed that 189 individuals were rescued from the collapsed structure of the Jet Set nightclub.
Health Minister Victor Attalah informed reporters on Saturday that the process of identifying victims has been prolonged, as most required biometric data matching for identification.
Notable personalities including professional athletes, politicians, and a fashion designer were present inside the nightclub when its roof collapsed during a live performance by esteemed merengue artist Rubby Perez, resulting in a 53-hour search and rescue operation.
Among the 225 confirmed deceased are Perez, former World Series champion Octavio Dotel, former MLB player Tony Blanco, and the father of current Pittsburgh Pirates prospect Tony Blanco Jr.
Authorities have indicated that it is still early to determine the cause of the roof collapse, but prosecutors visited the site on Thursday after rescue teams began to clear away the heavy machinery.
