The president-elect is less than pleased with Joe Biden’s recent announcement to lower flags to half-staff until inauguration day.

On Truth Social, Donald Trump remarked that Democrats are “giddy” about this decision, which will mark a historical first where flags are at half-staff during an inauguration.
He pointed out that Democrats only consider their own interests and that “no American can be happy about” the situation’s optics.
Biden has ordered a 30-day period of flag lowering to commemorate the late Jimmy Carter, effective until January 28th.
Trump has the option to end this 30-day period earlier.
This announcement follows Vice President Kamala Harris’s failure to accurately recite the opening words of the Pledge of Allegiance. Harris will certify her own loss against President-elect Trump on Monday, January 6th.
