Dershowitz Tells Newsmax: ‘DA Willis Faces Overwhelming Evidence’

Fulton County, Georgia, District Attorney Fani Willis is facing allegations of committing serious offenses, according to Alan Dershowitz, a Harvard Law professor emeritus, speaking on Newsmax on Tuesday.

Dershowitz claimed that Willis should be on trial for perjury, conspiracy to commit perjury, and witness tampering. He stated that the evidence against her is strong, including scientific evidence and multiple witnesses.

The accusations against Willis come in the midst of a case involving former President Donald Trump and eight co-defendants. They have filed a motion for the state court of appeals to review a judge’s decision allowing Willis to stay on the case, despite concerns of bias.

Additionally, Dershowitz raised concerns about Manhattan Judge Juan Merchan, who recently drew criticism for his handling of a case involving Trump and his daughter, a Democrat political consultant. Dershowitz highlighted potential conflicts of interest in Merchan’s rulings.

In discussing the Biden campaign and the Jewish vote, Dershowitz emphasized the importance of maintaining support for Israel to secure the pro-Israel vote in key states like Florida. He warned against alienating Jewish voters with perceived anti-Israel policies.
