DeSantis Acknowledges Trump’s Loss in 2020 Election
Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, a Republican, has stated that he does not believe the 2020 presidential election was stolen from former President Donald Trump. However, he does acknowledge flaws in the election process and believes that Republicans did not adequately fight back against these issues. DeSantis recently told reporters that Trump’s claims about election fraud were not proven to be true. DeSantis also commented on Trump’s legal problems, stating that they are “not really about Donald Trump” and that a justice system is not fair if it is weaponized. He believes that the 2024 election should focus on Biden’s policies rather than Trump’s legal issues.
