Devon Archer Can ‘Become a Hero’ With Testimony on Biden
Devon Archer, a friend and former business associate of Hunter Biden, has an opportunity to be a hero with his testimony before the House Oversight Committee. Archer is expected to testify about Hunter Biden’s business dealings, including allegations that then-Vice President Joe Biden was involved. Representative James Comer, the committee’s chair, believes that Archer has been intimidated by the Biden legal team but hopes that he saw Hunter Biden’s “sweetheart plea deal” being rejected. The committee also wants to bring in witnesses who can testify about Joe Biden’s level of involvement in his family’s business schemes, with Comer stating that there is no doubt in his mind that Biden knew about those things. He also mentioned that he doesn’t know if Archer’s testimony could lead to impeachment proceedings against Biden, but that the investigation is focused on gathering facts and evidence. In addition to this, the Department of Justice recently sent a letter to the Southern District of New York regarding Archer’s appeal of his 2018 conviction. Comer finds it odd that the letter was issued right before Archer’s scheduled testimony.
