Newsmax was informed on Wednesday morning by sources close to Ohio’s Republican Governor Mike DeWine that if Sen. J.D. Vance is elected as vice president, he plans to appoint his longtime friend and State Sen. Matt Dolan to take over his Senate seat until a special election takes place in 2026.
