Don Jr. Accuses Indictments of Being Designed to Interfere With Election, Says Newsmax

According to Donald Trump Jr., the third indictment against his father, former President Donald Trump, is an obvious attempt to interfere with the 2024 election. Trump Jr. made these comments during an interview with Newsmax on Tuesday, suggesting that the timing of the indictment is suspicious and meant to hinder Trump’s potential candidacy. He compared the situation to his father’s question of why they waited two years to indict him.

Trump Jr. argued that his father’s strong performance in the polls and his potential to dismantle the “uni-party” and “deep state” are reasons for the alleged interference. He criticized special counsel Jack Smith and compared him to Adam Schiff, claiming that the indictments are a diversion from the scrutiny surrounding Hunter Biden’s business practices. Trump Jr. referred to the current state of affairs as a “banana republic.”

Furthermore, Trump Jr. mentioned that he had just spoken to his father, who he claims is doing well. He praised his father’s consistency and suggested that the Biden administration is trying to prevent him from reclaiming control of the country.

Newsmax, where the interview took place, is described as the fastest-growing cable news channel in America.
