Donald Trump Jr. accuses Democrats of funding Nikki Haley’s “Stop Trump” campaign in interview with Newsmax

Nikki Haley is only running a “stop Trump” campaign, Donald Trump Jr. told Newsmax‘s “Wake Up America” on Thursday morning.

“I think she’s being funded by Democrats, right? I mean, you see that,” Trump Jr. told host Rob Finnerty, rebuking Haley as a Republican in name only (RINO). “She’s got Democrat megadonors funding her campaign. The people who are getting her gains in New Hampshire are all Democrats.

“So, I probably see that as part of that sort of globalist Democrat, RINO tactic of dragging this out to make it harder for Trump to win a general.”

Ultimately, the former governor of South Carolina will get “blown out” by former President Donald Trump in her own state by 30 points, according to Trump Jr., who added he said her motives lie elsewhere.

“I don’t think it’s about running; I think it’s about stopping Trump.”

The Executive Vice President of the Trump Organization was slightly more congenial toward Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, but still encouraging him to drop out and let Trump finish the task.

“Listen, I helped Ron get elected in 2018,” Trump Jr. said. “I did, like, probably 30 events for him. I voted for him last time.

“I’d like him to be a governor in Florida, not be in Iowa for the last year. I’m a resident of his state. It would be nice to have a governor there and maybe have a chance to actually win the presidency, rather than draining the resources that you need to take on Joe Biden.”

Trump Jr. seemed confident conservative voters would continue to stick with his father’s campaign.

“I actually, let’s say, live with the base; I hang out with the base,” Trump Jr. concluded. “Those are my people. Those are my friends. I’m not the New York City, rubber chicken dinner like charity circuit guy; like, you know, I hunt and fish and travel with real Americans, and I think I have a pretty good understanding of where they’re at.”
