Dr. Fauci to testify before House panel in January
Dr. Anthony Fauci is scheduled to appear before the House Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Pandemic for a two-day transcribed interview in January, as announced by Chairman Brad Wenstrup on Thursday.
The former director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) will testify on Jan. 8-9, according to Wenstrup’s statement.
In addition to the transcribed interview, Fauci will also participate in a public hearing, the date of which is yet to be determined.
Wenstrup emphasized that Fauci’s testimony is crucial for the Select Subcommittee’s investigations into various aspects related to the COVID-19 pandemic, such as its origins, coercive mandates, gain-of-function research, and scientific censorship. Wenstrup also stressed the importance of honesty during Fauci’s testimonies.
