During a Contentious Campaign Season, Some Michigan Neighbors Opt Out of Displaying Presidential Signs




Nick Hannawa’s suburban Detroit home is adorned with political signs supporting various local candidates, such as the prosecutor, supervisor, and trustee. However, notably absent is any endorsement for a presidential candidate. Hannawa explains that he prefers to avoid the stress and controversy that come with expressing support in such a polarized election year.
