After a decisive 40-22 victory over the Kansas City Chiefs in the 2025 Super Bowl, Philadelphia Eagles supporters gathered in mass on the city’s streets on Friday to celebrate their NFL team’s win in a spectacular parade.

The anticipation for the parade prompted the city to announce the closure of Philadelphia city offices and public schools, expecting a turnout of at least one million attendees reveling in the franchise’s second Super Bowl win.
“We are excited to celebrate the Eagles’ victory as a united community, and we encourage everyone to do so safely and responsibly with loved ones,” the Philadelphia school district stated.
Eagles fans are known for their spirited behavior, evident as they swarmed the streets the night of the Super Bowl to revel in their win—resulting in the damage of numerous city light poles and igniting fires throughout the area.
The parade kicked off at 11 a.m., featuring over 15 Jumbotron screens, allowing fans to witness the team proudly lifting the Lombardi trophy from the parade float.
This event was followed by a ceremony at the “Rocky” steps at the Philadelphia Museum of Art at 2 p.m.
The Eagles’ triumph follows their Super Bowl loss just two years prior against the Chiefs, making this “revenge” victory even more thrilling for Eagles supporters. They are now eager to take on the Chiefs again next season with hopes of achieving a “three-peat” championship.
The Eagles secured their first Super Bowl victory in 2018, overcoming the New England Patriots with a final score of 41-33.
