EPA Nominee Zeldin: No Obligation to Regulate CO2




Lee Zeldin, chosen by President-elect Donald Trump to head the Environmental Protection Agency, stated on Thursday that he acknowledges climate change as a genuine concern. However, he clarified that while the agency he is nominated to lead has the authority to regulate carbon dioxide emissions, it is not mandated to do so.
