Over 40 Democrat lawmakers have also supported televising the hearings, citing the historic nature of the charges. However, another former Watergate prosecutor, Nick Akerman, argues against cameras in the courtroom, stating that it could turn the trial into entertainment and potentially influence the proceedings.
