FBI’s Wray and AG Garland Subpoenaed by House Judiciary



House Judiciary Committee Chair Jim Jordan has issued subpoenas to FBI Director Chris Wray and Attorney General Merrick Garland as part of an investigation into government collusion with Big Tech to censor dissent. The subpoenas were issued after the committee received inadequate responses to their requests for voluntary cooperation. The investigation aims to understand the nature of the collusion and coercion between the federal government and Big Tech companies, potentially leading to new statutory limits on their ability to restrict content and deplatform users. The subpoenas were sent to Wray and Garland, who oversee the FBI and the Justice Department respectively.
