FCC approves Starlink’s direct-to-cell coverage in areas affected by hurricanes
On Sunday, the U.S. Federal Communications Commission granted approval for Elon Musk’s SpaceX and T-Mobile to activate Starlink satellites with direct-to-cell capability. This will help provide cellphone coverage in North Carolina areas severely affected by Hurricane Helene.
