‘FEMA Abandons Residents of North Carolina Town Following Helene, Road Closure’



Residents in the small town of Bat Cave, North Carolina had to rely on themselves after Hurricane Helene nearly wiped out the town. Despite the devastation, FEMA deemed a “road closed” sign as too difficult to overcome, leaving the residents to fend for themselves.
