Fleitz alleges that Iran troops in embassy backed terrorism, according to Newsmax
According to former CIA analyst Fred Fleitz, Israel was behind the attack on the Iranian embassy in Syria, where troops were supplying arms to Hezbollah. Fleitz made these comments during an interview with Newsmax.
Fleitz went on to say that during an appearance on an Arab language TV program, he and other panelists were outraged at Israel’s actions, but Fleitz defended the attack, stating that the Iranian consulate in Syria housed Revolutionary Guard troops who were arming Hezbollah.
Speaking on “American Agenda,” Fleitz mentioned that an Israeli official had stated that Iran could not hide behind its proxies and that Israel would not attack empty warehouses, unlike Joe Biden. He also appeared on “Carl Higbie FRONTLINE” to reiterate Israel’s responsibility for the attack.
Despite Iran denying involvement in the attack on October 7, Fleitz maintained that Iran had broken international law by supporting the attack. He also highlighted the growing presence of terrorist proxies in the region.
