Fred Fleitz Discusses GOP’s Push for Increased Aid in Biden’s Ukraine Plan on Newsmax

Former CIA analyst Fred Fleitz told Newsmax on Sunday that Ukraine is likely to lose its war against Russia. Congressional Republicans are hesitant to approve more funding without a plan about how the war will end and what the money will accomplish.

Fleitz explained that the war settled into a stalemate in late 2022, and Ukrainian forces did not turn the tide of the war in a 2023 counteroffensive. As a result, Republicans want to understand what the funding is achieving, especially since Ukraine is losing ground and facing troop shortages.

Former DIA intelligence officer Rebekah Koffler, author of “Putin’s Playbook: Russia’s Secret Plan to Defeat America,” also warned that there’s no military path to victory for Ukraine due to the imbalance in military and economic power between Russia and Ukraine.

Koffler criticized President Joe Biden for not providing Ukraine with the right weaponry to win and accused him of “virtue signaling” without taking substantial action.

Koffler also compared the criminal prosecutions of former President Donald Trump to Russian President Vladimir Putin’s treatment of his enemies, highlighting the persecution of political opponents in both cases.

She expressed concern about Trump’s safety in light of the various attempts made by his opponents to discredit and harm him.
