‘Full Metal Jacket’ Actor Kevyn Major Howard Dies at 69 – One America News Network

Kevyn Major Howard, famous for his portrayal of Rafterman in “Full Metal Jacket,” has died at the age of 69.

Howard reportedly passed away on Friday. While the cause of death is still unknown, it has been noted that he had been hospitalized for several weeks due to respiratory issues.
As reported by TMZ, Howard was surrounded by loved ones at the time of his passing.
His debut major film role came in 1980 with “The Serial,” alongside Martin Moll and Tuesday Weld.
He later went on to feature in films such as “Death Wish II” and “Sudden Impact.”
In 1987, Howard gained notoriety for his significant role in “Full Metal Jacket,” a film that received an Academy Award nomination.
After stepping away from acting, Howard pursued photography and was once dubbed the “King of the Hollywood headshot.”
He is survived by his wife Tiffany, step-daughter Kayla, sister Kim, and brother Kelsey.
