The Trump administration has released an additional batch of 60,000 files related to the assassination of former Democratic Senator Robert F. Kennedy this Wednesday.

Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard announced the release, which follows last month’s unveiling of about 10,000 documents.
“Following the initial disclosure of 10,000 documents three weeks ago, we searched F.B.I. and C.I.A. storage facilities for any records not previously submitted to The National Archives,” Gabbard stated in an X post.
“We found, declassified, and digitized more than 60,000 documents for public access. Today’s release is a significant move for maximum transparency and uncovering the truth,” she added.
A news release from the Office of the Director of National Intelligence indicated that the search yielded tens of thousands of documents related to RFK’s assassination, including the over 60,000 pages now available online.
“Today’s release features previously unseen details surrounding the FBI’s investigation into RFK’s murder, featuring discussions on potential leads by various FBI offices, and internal memos tracking the case progress,” it stated.
The release also updated on Gabbard’s previous comments about foreign nations discussing Kennedy’s assassination “before he was actually killed.” She noted that recent documents further validate this finding.
“Looking at this memo alone, you see Kuwait, London, Tel Aviv, Beirut, Benghazi… all these American embassies received this communication,” Gabbard remarked at the time. “People need to visit the website to gain insights into the conversations leading up to, and following, Senator Kennedy’s assassination.”
“As first revealed in the initial batch of 10,000 RFK files, there were rumors abroad that Senator Kennedy had been shot a month prior to his actual assassination date. Today’s additional materials support this prior information. Furthermore, this release includes audio recordings from LAPD interviews with Sirhan Sirhan, alongside witness interviews from the assassination,” the announcement noted.
Sirhan Sirhan, a Palestinian, was convicted of murdering Kennedy. However, Kennedy’s son, Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr., has frequently challenged the “official narrative” over the years.
“I praise President Trump for his bravery and commitment to transparency. I am also thankful to Tulsi Gabbard for her relentless pursuit to declassify these documents,” RFK Jr. commented last month. “Bringing the RFK files to light is vital to restoring confidence in the American government.”
