Georgia Election Case: First Co-Defendant Surrenders
Scott Hall, a bail bondsman, has become the first co-defendant in the Georgia election interference case to surrender to authorities. He is one of 19 co-defendants, including former President Donald Trump, accused of conspiring to overturn the state’s 2020 presidential election results. Hall faces charges including violating the Georgia RICO Act, election fraud conspiracy, computer-related crimes, and conspiracy to defraud the state. Another co-defendant, John Eastman, will surrender later, and Trump announced his intention to turn himself in on Thursday.
