Florida Governor Ron DeSantis’ campaign strength in Georgia has decreased, as former President Donald Trump emerges as the frontrunner in a recent poll. Trump holds a significant lead of 42 points over DeSantis in the poll, and also leads by 33 points in a hypothetical head-to-head matchup. The poll shows that Trump has strong support among likely GOP primary voters and is viewed as the strongest candidate against President Joe Biden. The University of Georgia conducted the poll, which has a margin of error of plus or minus 3.4 percentage points.
