Giuliani Calls Judge Engoron a ‘Political Hack’ During Interview with Newsmax
According to former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani speaking on Newsmax, Arthur Engoron isn’t a judge but rather a “political hack” appointed by the Democratic Party to persecute former President Donald Trump.
During an appearance on “American Agenda,” Giuliani accused a law clerk, Allison Greenfield, of being a Democratic Party operative, employed illegally and unethically, sitting on Engoron’s lap during the trial.
In October, Engoron issued a gag order on Trump after he posted a photo of the judge’s law clerk with U.S. Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, wrongly identifying her as Schumer’s girlfriend.
Trump’s legal team and the office of New York Attorney General Letitia James made closing arguments in a case accusing Trump of inflating his net worth to deceive banks.
Giuliani contested the case, claiming it to be a “fraud case without a loss” and that none of the accusations have merit.
