Giuliani Criticizes NYC Mayor’s Lenient Crime Policies in Interview with Newsmax
During an appearance on Newsmax’s “Eric Bolling The Balance” on Thursday, former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani criticized current Mayor Eric Adams’ handling of crime.
Giuliani expressed his disappointment in Adams’ approach to crime, stating that the police lack belief in him due to his background as a racial activist, rather than a cop. Giuliani highlighted his own administration’s success in reducing crime rates, particularly in areas like Times Square.
Reflecting on a tragic incident involving NYPD officer Jonathan Diller, Giuliani criticized laws that he believes contributed to the officer’s death. He emphasized the need for stricter penalties for repeat offenders.
