Giuliani Warns Newsmax: United States More Vulnerable Now Than Pre-9/11

“America’s Mayor” Rudy Giuliani told Newsmax on Monday that 22 years after the worst terrorist attack on U.S. soil, it’s his belief that Americans are in more danger now that prior to the events of Sept. 11, 2001.

He also told “Greg Kelly Reports” that it was hard for him to take part in Monday’s solemn ceremony in New York City with President Joe Biden’s chief lieutenants, saying they didn’t “belong there.”

Giuliani, of course, was the Mayor of New York City on that fateful day. Kelly lauded his leadership on the day as well as the following weeks and months before asking him what he was thinking 22 years later.

“Today, I’m thinking, unfortunately, our country is in more danger than it was before Sept. 11 largely because of Biden and two other people that were there today, [Vice President Kamala] Harris and [Homeland Security Director Alejandro] Mayorkas,” Giuliani told Kelly.

“It really prompted me and Bernie [Kerik] to leave a little bit earlier than we would. It’s hard to be there with them, thinking of the million and millions of people that have come across the border … we don’t know who they are.”

Mentioning that this country was getting safer since 9/11 until the Biden administration, Giulani said intelligence was the main key against anti-terrorism.

“Intelligence doesn’t work if you don’t know who’s coming in,” Giuliani said about the open southern border.

He also spoke about how Harris likes to elevate Jan. 6 to the same level as Pearl Harbor and 9/11.

“That’s an unbelievable insult to the people who lost their lives,” Giuliani said. “The reality is one, we’re not even sure what [Jan. 6] was. … No one’s been convicted of insurrection; they like to call it that.

“People are suffering to this day from [9/11]. People are dying from it. It’s just a complete insult.

“It also shows us how dangerous we are in the hands of these people. Our door is open. Our door is wide open, and around this world there are terrorist groups that wanna destroy us. … We’ve now given them free entry, never had it before,” Giuliani said.

“That’s why it was very hard to be on sacred ground with them” on Monday in New York. “They don’t belong there.”
