Giuliani’s Legal Troubles Creating a ‘Nightmare World’ for the Former Mayor
Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani has expressed that he feels like he is living in a “nightmare world” and finds it hard to believe that it’s real, according to sources exclusive to Page Six.
During a recent fundraising event at former President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort, Giuliani was reportedly heard lamenting his bankruptcy due to mounting debts and legal bills.
According to Page Six, an attendee overheard Giuliani saying that he feels like he’s living in a “nightmare world” and wakes up every day unable to believe the reality of his situation.
Giuliani is currently facing legal and financial troubles following a $148 million verdict in Georgia in December. Judge Beryl Howell ruled that Giuliani had defamed Ruby Freeman and Shay Moss by falsely accusing them of voter fraud during the 2020 election in Fulton County.
Sources told Page Six that Giuliani was attending an event in support of Arizona Republican congressional candidate Abe Hamadeh.
In a recent email to supporters through his Rudy Giuliani Freedom Fund, Giuliani expressed his concerns about the Biden administration’s actions against President Trump and his allies, claiming that they are being targeted for challenging corrupt forces.
In February, U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Sean Lane allowed Giuliani to seek a new trial and dispute the damages awarded in the Georgia election case.
