GOP Seeks to Exclude Non-Citizens from Census Count
New Republican initiatives aimed at excluding individuals living in the U.S. without legal status from the population counts used for apportioning congressional seats among states have been launched. This action comes as four Republican state attorneys general file a lawsuit to change the decennial census even before President Donald Trump’s second term officially commenced on Monday.
