Governor Burgum of North Dakota Supports Lake in Arizona Senate Race

North Dakota Gov. Doug Burgum has given his endorsement to Kari Lake in the Arizona Senate race.

“Kari Lake is the conservative fighter we need to support President Trump’s efforts to Make America Great Again,” stated Burgum. “In the U.S. Senate, Kari will be a powerful advocate for common sense. She possesses the qualities needed to lead our nation towards safety, prosperity, and peace. Kari Lake has my full endorsement!”

Lake, who is vying to replace Kyrsten Sinema, currently holds a significant lead over her Republican primary opponent. However, she is trailing behind Rep. Ruben Gallego, who is considered the front-runner in the Democratic primary.

According to a recent poll by Noble Predictive Insights, Gallego is ahead of Lake by 10 points.

Lake, a former TV news anchor who ran for governor in 2022, expressed her gratitude for Gov. Doug Burgum’s support, calling him “one of the emerging voices in the America First movement.”

“As a successful businessman and Governor of North Dakota, Doug Burgum understands the importance of improving our economy, achieving energy independence, and enhancing our national security. Governor Burgum recognizes my commitment to these goals in the U.S. Senate.”
