Governor Noem Discusses Making ‘Tough Decisions’ in Life with Newsmax
South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem shared with Newsmax that her new book called “No Going Back” focuses on encouraging Americans to engage in politics to improve their country. She also delves into the difficult decisions she has had to make in her life, including the challenging choice to euthanize a dog she owned twenty years ago.
During an interview on Eric Bolling The Balance, Noem explained, “Some critics, both liberal and bipartisan, have attacked me for a story included in the book about a decision I made twenty years ago. It was a decision between ensuring the safety of my young children and the public by protecting them, and dealing with a dangerous animal that was harming livestock and people.”
She added, “I included this story in the book to show that unlike many politicians, I do not shy away from tough decisions. I take responsibility and make the hard choices without passing them off to others.”
