During a podcast, Washington Post columnist Philip Bump was unable to answer a question about Hunter Biden giving “half” his “salary” to President Joe Biden. Former Acting Director of National Intelligence Ric Grenell criticized Bump, calling him a “shill” for the Democratic establishment. Grenell suggested that Bump would soon release a story in an attempt to regain credibility with Washington Post viewers. The incident occurred during an episode of Bump’s podcast in which Comedy Cellar owner Noam Dworman questioned him about a text message from Hunter Biden mentioning giving half his salary to “pop,” referring to Joe Biden. When asked about the text message, Bump walked out of the interview. House Oversight Committee Chair James Comer has claimed that the Bidens made money by selling Joe Biden’s influence, with Hunter Biden acting as the bag man.
