GWU Protester Advocates for ‘End Solution’ for Jews

An individual participating in an anti-Israel protest at George Washington University has sparked controversy on social media for displaying a sign advocating for the “final solution,” a reference to the Nazi plan to exterminate all Jews during World War II.

The man, who remains unidentified, was seen carrying a large Palestinian flag on the university campus in Washington, D.C., along with the disturbing sign associated with Hitler’s genocide of the Jewish population.

Several Twitter users expressed outrage over the man’s actions, with one suggesting that he may have been involved with the Nazi SS organization in his youth.

The image of the protester emerged amidst a larger demonstration by anti-Israel activists on George Washington University’s campus, part of a series of similar protests taking place at universities across the East Coast and beyond.

In response, the university issued statements condemning the protests and warning that participants were trespassing on private property and violating university regulations. Steps were taken to restrict access to University Yard to prevent unauthorized demonstrations from disrupting campus operations.

Disciplinary actions were threatened against GW students involved in the protests, with warnings of temporary suspension and administrative bans from campus for those who remained in University Yard.

The demonstration was organized by the DMV coalition of Students for Justice in Palestine, drawing hundreds of students, faculty, and activists to the campus. Chants calling for the end of Israel and demands for colleges to sever ties with the country were reported.

Despite the protests, law students at the university were still completing final exams in nearby buildings during the demonstration.

George Washington University reiterated its policies against unauthorized demonstrations on campus property, stating that non-GW individuals would not be allowed to participate in protests and that overnight encampments were prohibited.
