Haley Faces Backlash for Inscribing ‘Finish Them’ on Israeli Artillery Shell
There was a backlash against former U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley after she inscribed “Finish them!” on an Israeli artillery shell.
Images of Haley writing on a shell were shared by Israeli politician Danny Danon on social media, as reported by Reuters here.
She wrote the message during a visit to Israel’s northern border with Lebanon, emphasizing the message: “Finish them – America HEART Israel, Always.”
In addition to this, Haley visited the sites of Hamas’ attack along the border with Gaza and the Washington Examiner reported on this.
The Council on American-Islamic Relations denounced Haley’s message, stating their disapproval of her endorsement of the Israeli government’s actions against Palestinians.
Amnesty International USA also condemned Haley’s actions, emphasizing that conflict should not be used for stunts.
Actor John Cusack expressed his outrage on Twitter, calling Haley names and criticizing her actions fiercely.
