Harris Campaign Describes JD Vance as “Bizarre and Disturbing”

The presidential campaign of Kamala Harris criticized Republican Vice President nominee J.D. Vance for his pro-life beliefs as a devout Roman Catholic, calling them “weird and creepy.”

In a post to X on Friday afternoon, Harris’ campaign labeled Vance’s pro-life stance as not only “bad policy — it’s creepy.”

This is one of the initial attacks on Vance from Harris, who has been accused by faith leaders of exhibiting “anti-Catholic bigotry.”

The Harris campaign stated: “JD Vance’s fixation on controlling women’s most personal health care decisions, including voting against protecting IVF, advocating for tracking women’s menstrual cycles, and promoting a national abortion ban to restrict women’s access to care, is not just bad policy. It is considered creepy, unacceptable, and voters will not tolerate it.

“Women are fed up with the Trump-Vance Project 2025 ticket threatening to limit access to essential health care, and they will reject it by electing Vice President Harris to the White House.”

Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump opposes a federal abortion ban and believes it should be up to the states. He has also criticized Project 2025, created by the Heritage Foundation, as being “extremist.”
