According to a recent HarrisX poll, Donald Trump would receive support from 87% of Republican voters in a head-to-head matchup against Joe Biden in the 2024 presidential election. The poll also showed that Biden currently leads Trump 45% to 44%, a contrast to a previous poll in July where Trump led 46% to 42%. Trump gained support from 9% of Democrats and 36% of independents, while Biden received support from 7% of Republicans and 41% of independents. Trump had an advantage over Biden among white and Hispanic voters, while Biden had a significant lead among black voters. The poll also revealed that the majority of voters do not want either Biden or Trump to run again. Biden’s job approval rating was also mentioned, showing a slight increase.
