Harvard/Harris Poll: Voters Prefer RFK Jr. in Debates
Voters are calling for a debate between Robert F. Kennedy Jr., President Joe Biden, and former President Joe Biden, as per a recent poll.
The Harvard CAPS/Harris poll revealed that 71% of voters believe debates should include third-party candidates if they meet a certain threshold, with Kennedy being mentioned as one of those candidates, according to the Hill. Additionally, 79% of voters want Biden and Trump to engage in debates.
The poll also indicated that 73% of voters think Trump and Biden should agree to three presidential debates and one vice presidential debate, even though only two debates are scheduled, with the first one set for June. The Commission of Presidential Debates originally planned three debates for September and October.
Nearly two-thirds of voters believe the debates will help them decide who to vote for, while 37% do not think so, as reported by The Hill.
54% of those surveyed think that microphones should be automatically muted when a speaker’s time runs out.
The survey included 1,660 registered voters and was conducted from May 15-16, as per The Hill.
