Hostage Rescue Mission: Israeli Special Forces Pose as Palestinian Refugees
According to two Israeli security sources told ABC News, Israeli special forces disguised themselves as Palestinians in search of housing to rescue hostages from Gaza over the weekend.
The special forces were already positioned near the hostages and received the “go” command at 11 a.m. local time.
After the rescue operation, the helicopters carrying the hostages and injured officers landed at Sheba Medical Center in Israel shortly after.
According to IDF officials, the hostages were in “good medical condition” when they were rescued.
