On Friday, the funding measure was passed in the House with a vote tally of 366 to 34.
This legislation will prolong government funding until March.
It allocates over $100 million in assistance to farmers and those affected by natural disasters, including individuals impacted by Hurricane Helene, which occurred in September.
Nevertheless, the bill does not include a suspension of the debt ceiling, a move advocated by President-elect Donald Trump.
The bill will now proceed to the Senate for consideration.
