House GOP Presents 6-Month Stopgap Measure to Prevent Government Shutdown
On Saturday, House Republicans, who hold the majority, presented a six-month stopgap funding measure that, if approved by Congress, would prevent a government shutdown on March 14 and continue current government funding until the end of fiscal year 2025.
