Huckabee shares with Newsmax: Supreme Court to Determine Trump’s D.C. Case Outcome
Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee predicts that former President Donald Trump’s case related to the 2020 presidential election will likely reach the Supreme Court and be ruled in Trump’s favor based on free speech. Huckabee believes that Trump will lose at the lower court levels but has a good chance of winning at the Supreme Court level, which could result in a 9-0 decision. Trump is scheduled to appear in federal court in Washington, D.C., to face four criminal charges connected to attempts to overturn the election. Huckabee argues that a fair trial is unlikely in D.C. and suggests that Judge Tanya Chutkan, who is presiding over the trial, should recuse herself due to her past association with Hunter Biden and possible bias. Huckabee also criticizes the Department of Justice and President Joe Biden for going after a potential opponent in the 2024 election. Additionally, Huckabee voices his disapproval of the current presidential debate process, calling it a “sham” and suggesting that candidates should have equal time to speak and ask each other questions for a more meaningful debate.
