Iowa Governor Criticizes Abundance of GOP Candidates for ’24 Race
Iowa Republican Gov. Kim Reynolds stated in an interview with Fox News that there are too many candidates running in the 2024 GOP presidential primary. She believes that they should encourage the existing candidates to come to Iowa and visit all 99 counties. The current leader in Republican primary polls is former President Donald Trump, followed by Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis and other contenders. The first Republican primary debate, featuring candidates who have met the Republican National Committee’s debate requirements, will take place on Wednesday in Milwaukee.
