Iowa’s Abortion Ban, One of the Strictest in the Nation, to Be Enforced Starting Monday




Monday signifies the beginning of a new era for Iowa, as it implements one of the most stringent abortion laws in the country. As of Monday, abortions after six weeks of pregnancy will be prohibited in the state, with exceptions only for cases of rape, incest, or when the mother’s life is at risk.
