IRS Worried About Adding Trump’s Name to Stimulus Checks
According to documents obtained through a Freedom of Information Act request, Bloomberg News reported that the IRS requested a legal opinion to confirm the legality of including then-President Donald Trump’s name on stimulus checks distributed during the COVID-19 pandemic.
