Israel accepts US-supported cease-fire proposal, urges Hamas to do the same, says Blinken
According to U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken, Israel has agreed to a plan to resolve issues preventing a cease-fire and the release of hostages in Gaza. Blinken also urged Hamas to follow suit, although he did not specify if the group had addressed the concerns raised by the militants.
