Jason Miller Tells Newsmax: Biden Doesn’t Seem Interested in Debating

Jason Miller, senior adviser to Republican presumptive nominee Donald Trump, told Newsmax on Friday he doesn’t believe President Joe Biden intends to debate, but will have a tough time backing out.

Miller appeared on “Eric Bolling The Balance” to respond to Biden’s statement on Howard Stern’s radio show that he is willing to debate Trump.

“I think Joe Biden joining Howard Stern today was unexpected. I assumed he would end up as the newest member of the Wack Pack on the show,” Miller said. “However, the headline today is that Joe Biden stated he will debate.”

“But I don’t think Joe Biden will actually debate President Trump,” Miller continued. “If he does, it may be on a random Sunday on NPR, possibly during a holiday weekend. I don’t believe he is serious, and he will regret making this statement.”

Miller also mentioned that it will be challenging for Biden to retract his statement.

“I am not sure how they will backtrack on this. They have already taken an adversarial approach with the media, making it difficult to retract. But I believe that’s what his team will attempt to do,” Miller said.

“Because they are in a difficult situation.”
