Jesse Binnall tells Newsmax: Jury Had No Choice but to Convict due to Judge’s Ruling

Jesse Binnall, an attorney for Donald Trump, expressed to Newsmax on Thursday that New York Judge Juan Merchan manipulated the trial proceedings to ensure a conviction against the former president.

Trump, in a historic verdict, was convicted on 34 counts of falsifying business records related to a payment made by Michael Cohen to Stormy Daniels.

Binnall criticized Merchan’s conduct throughout the trial, alleging bias and unfair practices that favored the prosecution and led to an inevitable conviction of Trump.

Concerns over Merchan’s impartiality were raised due to his political affiliations and familial connections to Democrat campaigns and organizations.

Despite these concerns, Merchan denied a motion to recuse himself from the case and proceeded to deliver questionable jury instructions that seemed to guide the jury towards a guilty verdict.

Binnall highlighted several instances where Merchan’s actions and instructions seemed to prejudicially influence the jury’s decision, ultimately resulting in Trump’s conviction.
