During an appearance on Fox News‘ “Hannity” on Monday, Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem revealed that she had identified several ICE officers who were notifying illegal immigrants about the agency’s deportation efforts, effectively aiding in their evasion.

However, according to Noem, these “leakers” have since been terminated from their positions.

Host Sean Hannity: “Do you have updates?… Have you identified any individuals responsible for alerting these gang members or cartel members illegally residing in the country, thus endangering ICE officials’ lives due to the loss of surprise? Any insights on those tipping them off?”

DHS Secretary Noem: “Absolutely, Sean. I’ve discovered some leakers, and we’re continuing to identify more. They will face termination. There will be repercussions, and it’s vital to remember that leaking information to the media not only compromises operations but also endangers law enforcement lives. They are placing lives at risk and burdening families with loss. We’re employing every strategy available, and as I mentioned last week, we’re conducting polygraph tests and scrutinizing emails and communications. It’s astonishing how bureaucrats, driven by their own agenda to obstruct our efforts to ensure safety in America, will betray each other to save themselves.”

“Rest assured, I am steadfast in my mission to uncover these leakers and eliminate them so that our law enforcement personnel can operate safely.”

Earlier this month, Tom Homan, the border czar from the Trump administration, revealed that another ICE operation in Aurora, Colorado, was compromised by a “leak.”

ICE agents could only apprehend 30 illegal immigrants, including a member of the Tren de Aragua gang, out of the 100 they were targeting.

In alignment with Homan’s claims, Noem indicated her belief that “corrupt” FBI agents leaked information about the scheduled raids. Homan pointed out earlier that the office of Deputy Attorney General Emil Bove believes it has traced the source of the leak.

Anyone who reveals such confidential information “that threatens the lives of our exceptional law enforcement officers” will face serious consequences, Attorney General Pam Bondi previously stated.

Moreover, assisting an illegal alien is a criminal offense in the U.S. This includes knowingly providing shelter, transportation, or other means of concealment to unauthorized immigrants.

“President Trump and Secretary Noem have communicated a definitive message to illegal aliens: Do not attempt to enter our country. Entry will be denied, and if you manage to enter, we will pursue you and deport you,” the DHS has stated.

The DHS has yet to disclose further details regarding the number of identified leaks.
