Joe Biden met with a witness against Hunter Biden a week prior to her testimony.
President Joe Biden made a brief stop in Wilmington, Delaware at the home of Hallie Biden, widow of his late son Beau Biden, on his way back to Washington D.C. on Sunday night. This visit comes just a week before Hallie is set to testify in Hunter Biden’s gun trial, as reported by the Daily Mail.
President Biden spent about 15 minutes at her home before heading to the Delaware National Guard Station, where he boarded Marine One to return to the White House.
Hallie and Hunter had a relationship in 2017, following Beau’s passing from brain cancer. Hunter stated that their bond had developed out of their shared grief over Beau’s death.
Hunter had separated from his wife Kathleen in 2015 after Beau’s passing.
The White House did not provide a reason for the president’s visit to Hallie Biden’s house in Wilmington.
However, Red State contributor Boncie suggested that the visit raises concerns of corruption and potential interference in the upcoming trial.
He further argued that if former President Donald Trump had visited a witness testifying against his son in a criminal trial, it would have been deemed a scandal and Trump accused of witness tampering.
