Joe Rogan Criticizes Hochul’s Comment About Black Children as ‘Unwise’

Podcaster Joe Rogan criticized New York Democrat Gov. Kathy Hochul for her statement that Black children in the Bronx are not familiar with the word “computer.”

Rogan described her comment as “dumb” during a conversation on his show, “The Joe Rogan Experience,” with stand-up comedian and libertarian political commentator Dave Smith, as reported by Newsweek. He questioned the validity of her statement and expressed disbelief that she holds a position of power.

Smith also criticized the statement, quoting Malcolm X by saying that there is nothing more racist than a white liberal. Rogan expressed his concerns about weak individuals in power, stating that they are dangerous because they tend to suppress information and eventually become totalitarian.

Hochul made the controversial comments at the Milken Institute Global Conference while discussing New York’s artificial intelligence initiative. She later clarified that she misspoke and expressed her intention to empower all individuals, including those from diverse backgrounds.
